I need help with blueprints or dimensions for a single American Bass XFL 12. I want it tuned to 32 hz and I would prefer if it could be within the dimensions of 16x16x20 and especially within 18x19x20. Thanks guys! This will complete my build once I get these and I will post results. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

16 x 16 x 20 will give you around 1.7-1.9 usable cubic feet net airspace kinda small for the sub. You can try building a box with those dimensions and doing a 4 inch aeroport, I think that would be your best bet and the easiest way to do it. With a slot you'll have a hard time getting a lower tuning then 40 without sacrificing port area and net cubic feet airspace.

so a 16 x 16 x 20 box with a 4 inch aero thats 12 inches long which would result in a tuning between 34-35hz tuning leaving you with 1.9 cubic feet airspace and its also 4 inches away from the rear wall. If you want to have lower tuning then let me know what tuning you want

I want to get down to 32hz. How do I go about building an aero port? I am willing to increase the dimensions to say 16x19x20 or even 18x19x20. Could that bring me more towards 2.5 cubes?

Shop Charlotte Pipe 4-in x 2-ft ABS DWV Pipe at Lowes.com

Or http://www.homedepot.com/p/JM-eagle-4-in-x-10-ft-PVC-Sewer-and-Drain-Pipe-1610/202280933

Just google up how to flare aeroports or youtube it up.

Requires access to a heat gun and metal bowl, cut to size then make flares.

15 x 19 x 20 will get you to 2.37 cubic feet after sub and port displacement. You need to add enough bracing so it would be closer to 2.35 cubic feet and you'll get 32 tuning with an 11 inch port while still keeping the port 4 inches away from the rear wall to match the aeroport diameter.

I have 2 of them in around 2.5 cubes per sub, tuned to around low 30s Hz. I think.its tuned a little low. Really low frequencies hit thick and...
