if you were dealing with about .7 cubic feet of space, and you wanted a ton of midbass, and you had a pair of poly mids going into your doorpanels, that you are converting to panel/pods would you run the polys sealed, or ported.

and if you were to port them, what would an ideal tuning be?

xover point will be either 50 hz or 63 hz

never seen ported pods.
Jason had some before he got subwoofers. They were .55cubes NET with a 1.5" flared port. Got port noise because he had them play all the way down to 30hz.

Oh... probably of no interest to you. Gross highs boy.

stuff w polyfill?
if so, how much,

and if i only have a half a cube, then, how much?

thanks so far

Generally... 1lb of polyfill per cubic foot is the rule.

Also, how will you be measuring volume? Packing peanuts?

.5cubes is HUGE... just an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif... as far as doors are concerned.

If I had that space and custom pods in my doors, I'd sell the Poly's and go three way with an XLS.
