My A8000T suddenly quit on my it lights up and everything but it stays on protection and wont come off. I checked the fuses and everything there all fine i dont know whats going on with it!!! Could comeone please help me its not overheating because its cold it just stays on protection and doesnt come off! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif WTF only happens to my unluck ***.

**** thats some bad luck... two amps in the same day? I would meter your subs and see verify that one of them is not blown and thus dropping the impedence. Lol how could it overheat ever anyway, its a fan cooled audiobahn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

sorry to hear bro.. just check all of your wires, distribution and fuses.. all i can say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif sorry.

I double checked the amp fuses and the power wire fuse all the wires are tight and still absolutely nothing.. JUST A BIG RED PROTECTION LIGHT! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

hmm, how did you wire your sub(s) with the a8000t? is it possbile you are running the amp at an ohm its not capable of?

i had the same amp, my very first amp matter of fact, it would shut off and go back into normal mode; but that was because my gains were high and my bass boost was high as well (i was audio noob and a circuit city guy setted it for me and said im good to go:waycrazy: )

This is Bassbeast and no it was only running to 1 sub so i had it all hooked up right its fried i guess. She turns on and the protection light comes right on and the subs bump a little but the prot light blinks and the subs make a wierd *** bumping noise not music but from the way the amp is acting....

turn the gain down, and wire a single 4 ohm speaker to each channel 1 at a time. maybe pull the fuse (at the battery) for a day, and put it back in. sometimes they reset for some stupid reason.

but it is audiobahn. not like you didnt see it comming //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

BassBeast I have the exact same amp and the same thing has just happened to me 2 days ago. I am still not sure what it is, but if i find out i'll be sure to tell ya. I think mine might have to do with the fuse up by the battery so I'm going to probably replace that soon. Keep me updated as to whether you get the problem fixed or not.

UPDATE: My fuse up by the batt was burnt in the middle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but not blown so i hooked it direct and it still did it im going to put the fuse back in! I cant figure the **** thing out i guess its blown but why would it turn on and just stay on prot. It could of gotten short circuted thats one of the reason the A8000T go on prot but WHY ISNT IT COMING OFF!! COuld it have an internal fuse or reset?

Maybe i could hook it all up so it on protection then while its still on unhook the power wire at the battery and then hook it back up maybe it will reset it!!!
