Hi
My system consists of 4 speakers, 2 tweeters, 1 subwoofer and 2 Amps.
Amp 1: Powers all the speakers + tweets.
Amp 2: Powers subwoofer.
I have a whining/crackling sound emitting from all of my speakers and tweets, but not the subwoofer.
It is quite loud and very annoying and mimmicks the engines RPM. I know that the headunit I am using is not the cause, because I had no engine noise at all before I installed the first amplifyer.
I have RCA Splitters and Y Adapters connected to my RCA Cable to achieve this setup, as the headunit I bought was quite limiting at only 2 Preouts.
I found a new ground for the first amp, properly sanded it down and whatnot, since this is the only amp that features engine noise, and I still had no luck.
I searched the forums but did not find a scenario like mine, where I have 2 amps and only 1 amp seems to have noise issues.
If anyone has experience with this help will be greatly appreciated.
