OK, I have been getting a clicking noise from my speakers for a couple of days now. I had this before once, and it turned out that my ground wire for my 4 channel amp was not connected, so i connected it and that was that. Since then i got i got rid of my old subs and got 2 earthquake subs and a jbl 1200 amp and everything worked fine until recently. It started first sometimes when i would turn the car off and then the clicking starts. It's an on and off thing, no music just a clicking noise. I don't think its my subs because i still get bass just no music, i don't think its my speakers because if that were the case they wouldn't work all the time, right? I took the deck out today and rewired all the wires and rca cables and it was working good until io turned it up pretty high and my bass was pounding and then the clicking began. I am thinking its the head unit, its a pioneer deph-4000 i think i got it back in 1998-1999 i can't really remember. I am thinking that the bass shaking the headunit may cause something to f up within the unit.
