I ended up using 4layers plus the shirt, i dont think the shirt counts though.

The reason i did this was to make the SA8 fit when i get it. But since its done, im going to be try the AA 8 out. Thinking about adding carpet too but i'm not sure what i need for that or where to buy the carpet...

You just need carpet and carpet glue. I can get it for you. Probably only need 1 yard. which is 6.50 and a can of glue i get for 3bucks. So just say ten bucks to carpet it

So the fiberglass dried and i felt it needed a little more bracing so i added 2 layers on the inside:

Got to wrapping it in carpet yesterday. I would say it looks better.

So i tried the AA 8 and it is noctiably louder than the e8, i didnt expect it to be that much louder. I messed with the eq a bit and got it to sound better than before. no problem, i was busy too until this weekend. Need any help with your install? you could listen to it while intalling ha.

maybe you could get carpet cheaper. Cost me $15 for 36x71, is that about right?

Not even sure i pay by the yard which is bout 6bux or so. Never really measured the carpet haha i just eyeball it. But ya you can come help when i start back up trying to figure out wtf ima do wit my doors since they didnt fit so in process of trying to get a refund or work somthing out.

I'll probably buy some for PE.com when i order stuff. Were the doors expensive? sucks they didnt fit.

maybe you can help me build a small round baffle for the front of the sub out of mdf? i have mdf just no jig for my router

I want to build it to fit where the rubber gasket would fit, between the basket and outter part of the surround. I know it sounds really weird but it would keep the seat from touching the sub. had to increase the front baffle by 1/4" and ended up with another problem

But on the bright side, the sub sounds really good
