If I were to deaden my doors, I'd be filling in all those holes where you can see the window on the inside and whatnot right? Well my Cavy has window regulator/ motors that have to be accessible since they arent durable worth a sh!t. Should I just deaden the inside of the door, and just leave the window reg. holes open? I'm not in any means going to comps or anything, just wanting a little more oomph from my fronts.

Cliffs, Need to deaden doors, window reg's need to be accessed, should I deaden around it?

Do what you can. It takes work to do it right. If your not gonna do it right don't even deaden. JMO

you dont have to use anything permanent, I used cardboard cut to fit and ducttape, didn't work as well as like plexiglass and a good putty sealant would, but it definitely made quite a difference over just being open

i made fiberglass panel to seal mine, they are screwed in so I can take them out to fix the door parts if needed. Some sheet metal or plexi would work fine too but open sucks

You want to cover all the holes, it will help the speaker performance alot. If you ever need to access hardware in your door, simply cut open one of the holes, and then recover it once the repair is complete.

Alright. Just wanted to know the best way to be able to access the inner panel, but I'll just keep some extra deadening incase the motors go out again.

Thanks for the suggestions!
