Does this plan look like it would work well for this sub. Seems decent but figured someone in here might have some suggestions. Will be working with 2200wrms and these external measurements will fit in car.

Yeah title is a little beat up, but yeah its a RE audio XXX 12...lol. Just looking for some thoughts on this box plan. Not too sure if its a touch too big.

it'll handle it daily, but given that amount of power you should be fine. from what i gathered that's almost 3 cubes....

Its a Mmats DHCX2200.1. Ive seen alot of people putting big power on these but im not sure if it would be too much. Maybe not to bad just for music. Just looking for some solid thoughts on a awesome ported box tuned like 28-32. This plan looked solid. Open to suggestions.

No 2.75ft^3 is no where near too small for a 12" xxx. 2.5ft^3 tuned around 27-32 is optimal.

In that large of a box, do not set your gains for 2200 watts. It will not be needed.

And yes, that design will be fine.

The XXX will handle a true 2200 watts in the proper enclosure. You can't expect every one to know how though...

i've heard a 12" XXX bottom out w/ 1500- from a BX1500, in a small sealed enclosure... I wouldn't imagine throwing 2200w to a XXX. 05' and older that is.
