500s are listed under the 1000s though so wouldn't it be a series down from 1000s? or did they stop the 1000 line all together? I got confused.. lol

There is a 1008 also. The 1008 is more of an SQ sub, and the 508 is more like the 1508. The 500 series is on the b rev of the subs.
