A kerfed t-line? ugh, this is gonna take forever...

Dear friend, I hope that my letter reaches you in a blessed way. I noticed your for sale advertisement and would like to purchase the bricks you have mentioned but before I send payment I would like to know are they part of a complete set or individual bricks? Please email me your Address and phone number as soon as you can. I will have my shipping agent contact you shortly to make the arrangements. My plans for the bricks are to send them to my uncle in Nigeria to construct a school for poor children.....

Just kidding, I love how that thing flows!

lmao, i almost thought that was legit for a second (a legit scam, i mean...).

i kinda forgot about my build log, its all done now and i've given it a listen in my truck hooked up to my 1000.1 with the gains way down. it's smooooth. i gave it a variety of music. it hits the lows in put on by jeezy, and hits the highs in various bass lines in songs like wasting time by jack johnson and a passing feeling by elliott smith (pretty good song for testing the range of a woofer, the bass line walks all over the place, and its a great song imo)

blends nicely, doesn't over power my weak door speakers. i'm looking forward to testing it out indoors, but because of the nature of this box i have no where to mount my plate amp.

so, i'm going to build an "enclosure" just for it. i'll probably have it done by this weekend, it depends how lazy i get.

anyways, pics will be up top in a few minutes

oops, guess i can't edit my old posts anymore, here are the pics:

thats all i got. i might take some pics with it in my room. i don't think i'll paint it or cover it with anything, that way when i sell it (i do plan on upgrading eventually) whoever buys it can do whatever they want with it.

Sorry... completely missed that post. How does it sound as far as punch and loudness. I know t-lines have a great flat response, but compared to a normal enclosure, does it have a good kick like a typical sealed or ported box?

its difficult to compare since i've never ran a sealed box in my truck before. for a little 8 inch sub with ~200 watts (probably more, i bottomed it out a couple times lol) it hits nicely. although compared to my 15" Q on 1000 watts its nowhere near as loud, but like i said, it blends very well, is smooth, and overall i'm impressed with this little sub.
