okay so my girlfriends stepdad got a little drunk today (by a little i mean smashed)..

and he has been an electritian for almost 25 years, okay, cool

so me and my buddy were tlaking about his dual 2 ohm sub wired to 4 ohms on his 2 ohm stable amp..

and hes like "do you guys even know what ohms mean"

and i gave him the defiintaion, it measures resistance, resistance= heat, less ohms = more heat blah blah blah..

he just said i was wrong and started muttering some BS

so i said okay and kept talking, and then he butted in again and said

"do you knwo what the best ohm load is" and i said "in car audio?"

he nodded.. and i said, "well it depends what yer amp is stable at" and i told him personally i like to do a 2 or 4 ohm load but lots of people like to use 1 ohm loads..

hes like "no, no, no, you have no idea what yer talkigmn about.. ZERO ohm load is the best"

and i said "um, dj, you cant get a zero ohm load"

and he said he could go out to my car and make my subs do a 0 ohm load right now and i said

Deeje, even if you could do that, good luck finding an amp that would hold that w/o blowing instantly..

and i explained to him that the lowest laod i personally have ever seen was an IA 20.1 @.25..

he said "no, yer wrong, ive been doing this for longer than you have been alive, any amo can do 0 ohms"

at this poitn i started to gert an attitude and get a little pissed and his wife just sttod behind him and shook her head and signaled for em to stop

so i just gave up and said okay yer right

and he just kept muttering on about how kids now adays and their ohm stable amps and blah blah blah im drunk.. lol
