Hello I currently have a pair of MA audio woofers that have torn spiders and one have a cracked dust cap. Unfortunately, there isn't a reasonable means of reconing them so I'm looking to go single sub.

Either a sealed 15" or a ported 12". something near 1500 rms range that kicks ***. But I want to avoid shipping. I listen to both rap and rock and do like a punch bass over just loud and sloppy. I may just stick with sealed.

I don't want anything IDMax quality though. I had a terrible experience with their durability and refuse to get something so fragile. Sold my last pair on this site.

Range is $300 - $400 but less and newer is better if possible.

Not knocking what you are familiar with, but more, what we call, bang for your buck. Some of them will even make subs specific to your needs; tantric, comes to mind. There even a few vendors that will custom build for you. You can even check the classifieds, that is, if you don't have any qualms about buying used. Good look in your search, dude.

I've purchased some ****** hybrid subs a few years back. Can't tell you which forum but they were Mixed with RE parts and something else. They were awesome but I'm sure that the thieves that stole them are enjoying them now.

Just missed a pair DC lvl 3 dual 4 ohm vc subs that sold for $320 in my city. I was willing to go with 2 subs if I got those.
