Here we go again. I was getting out of my car last weekend at a local shop, and here pulls this kid in the lot, with his klunker just a rattling away. My god it was hiduous. I got into the shop as fast as I could because I was just laughing. This car should have been impounded until it had a complete bath in dynamat. LOL For all I know it may have sounded good inside, but outside it was just one big fart! Oh I understand the budget thing and all, but it was just funnny. This is what alot of the general public chooses to see and hear and it give us a bad rap.

your point on how the rattle sounds like crap is good. but one thing i dissagree with is- loud music played obnoxiously is what give's a bad rap. not the rattle. the rattle causes poeple to laugh or think to themselve's that is loud or rediculous.my .02 cents

Regarding the rattling on the OUTSIDE... i have an annoying one underneath the car. The muffler rattles when im bumping (not even loud either) i dont think thats something that you can really fix all that well. Sometimes there are annoying rattles you cant really fix

Yeah I was at sonic last week, and a guy rolled up in like a riced out Accord. Lord knows what he had in the trunk, but holy hell... it sounded like someone was attacking his car with a vibrator.

I actually know an installer who built a sweet system for this guy. Sounded just incredible. He Dynamatted the interior and everything. Nice and quiet outside, loud inside. The guy listened and told him it sounded like crap, there was no rattle. The installer asked him to come back the next day. He unscrewed many panels in the back end and actually tossed some screws under the floor to get that metal to metal rattle. The guy loved it. It was sad....

That is sad. That would have seemed to be ideal. I guess he was another wanta be showboater.
