i see you are from LA, only way you don't have a prob with these numbers must be cuz you are a mexican. lol basically everyone i know is from cali and they all moved here to get away from illegals, not that it's much better here. i have about a dozen people i see on a regular that are illegally here and even with us being friends i tell them to leave or be here legally.

No, i'm not mexican i'm asian. my parents are both LEGAL immigrants and pay taxes. I work full time and pay my taxes also, so i have no biased views..i have no doubt in many ways they are ruining or not helping our economy or there's a high percentage of them that are criminals. my only point is for people to try to get the facts straight and believe everything they hear..and not to respond with all these retarded rage and GTFO!!. If we wanted to set an example we'd be a lot more civilized than that.

Ignorant people like you blaming this state's financial problems on a certain group of people without any real facts and just biased articles and editorials. Germany didn't only invade inferior countries they also discriminated and attempted to get rid of all of the jewish people in their own country. So yes this is the same concept because that's all you ignorant *** people are doing..you have no facts or real experience with any of these things all you read are these biased posts about illegal immigrants with these statistics from who knows where and suddenely you're so enraged and motivated to "get them out". wouldn't you say that's exactly what happened in Germany? A very charasmatic leader gave a bunch of speeches and dished out a lot of propaganda and biased facts about the Jews and pretty soon the entire country believed that they were the cause of the poverty. Was that true? No. The country was in ruins because of the previous failed attempt to over take Europe in World War I. They were in debt and forced to pay reperations (sp?) and that's why they were in financial ruins.

Anyways back onto the illegal immigrants it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand why an illegal and undocumented group of people ~11 million strong create a strain on our economy. There is PLENTY of credilble facts to back that up. Do I have them at my fingertips? No, but I could find them... in any case GTFO your high horse and use your brain.

Good for you. Obviously you're not intelligent enough to see my arguement/point. Germany didn't just start off one day to eliminate all Jewish people from their country. There was a lot of build up that led to the eventual Holocaust that we knew about. The Nazis didn't come into power over night..they slowly gained control in the government using many things such as propangada. What I'm comparing this to is ignorant people in the US(that's you guys) and in Germany both bought into these distorted "facts" and accepted the lie that a certain type of people were to blame for all their problems.

i NEVER said that the illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay or anything of that sort. I was merely trying to tell people to not believe everything they read and to try to get the facts straight before htey make ignorant comments like "GTFO!!" I dont know much about the subject because i don't feel as strongly as about it. So yes, you're right I'm sure there are a lot of REAL facts that are astonishing. What I'm trying to point out is that people pass judgement too quickly on a certain type of people when tehy're given iffy "facts" about them. Try to see both sides of the story. I'm sure there are also facts that show they help this country in SOME way or the another.

well im sure the white owner of the company u want to work for can get that mexican to do it for half the cost with your quality so for the owner thats simple math...he pays the mexican less and gets more to his pocket...

uh yeah that's what makes this whole thing wrong. I was getting paid next to nothing already to keep my job, and paying taxes. now he's paying this POS the same per hour but under the table so neither pay tax and my boss doesn't pay L&I.

WRONG. our economy is a market capitolist economy. meaning that our economy is competitive. we compete to keep prices down for the consumer while making as big of a profit is possible. So its simple math, if you cost of production is smaller (aka labor), there is more profit possibility, or prices stay down for consumers. so if a commodity such as strarberries cost 1.00 lb, with higher cost of production it would cost alot more.

In other words, they are not placing any strain on the econmy. they are helping keep prices down. so they stablize our economy.

You want to talk about a real DRAIN on the econmy, OUTSOURCING. would you rather talk about losing low paying jobs, or high paying jobs that are completly leaving the country. with immigrant workers they are taking low paying wages, but outsourcing takes highly paid technical jobs.

This whole issue is used as a political tool. the real problem is the republicans are facing losing seats in congress. think about it. during the presidental race the issue was gay marriage. when was the last time you heard about it? you dont. its a tool used. now its this.

not paying taxes IS a problem. however the taxation in this country is a joke. The rich pay MUCH less than everyone else. while the poor low income in this country (including the whites) pay a lot more.

that is a BIG problem.
