I am going to be building a 3.0 cuft downfiring box that will go between my front and rear seats in my F350 Crew Cab.
It is going to house (1) 15" sub, most likely an Fi Q.
I listen to 90% rap music, with some classic rock and country thrown in there sometimes.
Anyway, my questions are:
What should it be tuned to?
How many aeroports do I need and what size?
Since the sub will be downfired, which way should the port(s) face?
How high should the sub be off of the trucks floor, and where do I measure to (surround or center of dustcap)?
Sorry for all of the questions, this will be my first ported box build and I want to do it right the first time.
If someone wants to design me one, I will be glad to get the measurements, and pay for the design depending on the cost.
Thanks again for all the help everybody!
