haha sry 4 the gay *** title! but yeah im going to start my build tommorrow and i still havnt bought the wood for my box!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif n e ways should i get mdf, hdf, or birch? im going 1 inch on the wood so let me knoe wutcha think! pros and cons on all three kinds of wood please. oh and 1 more type CARDBOARD! haha jk

 
I don't think they make HDF? (If you mean High-Density Fiber... normally they refer to MDF as high density. Maybe you got confused?)

However... from my limited knowledge, MDF is cheaper, and is a lot easier to work with. Although birch is harder to work with, I believe it's more dense and is a lot more solid.

sry meant structural integrity for the eventual sub upgrade... is i wasnt going 2 upgrade then i wouldnt build the box with 1 inch wood

 
it doesnt matter what subs you have.. angles dont necessarily have an effect on structural integrity. moreso, like i stated before, thicker material will not help your problem.. dont waste the money..

and good luck finding 1" sheets local. special order or make your own
