A different alternator whine issue...

The issue is that sometimes the whine is barely there, other times the whine is very loud. Not to be confused with the pitch / rpm. Im not really looking for more suggestions for a fix, just what can cause the whine to come & go.

It doesnt seem to have any relation to temp, accessories running, it seems to do it randomly.

Hopefully by figuring out why the whine seems to be there sometimes and other times not at all, I can pinpoint the issue, I hope.

check your grounds, and sometimes if your gain is set to high it will give the whine

Yeah, been there already. Any ideas what will cause the whine to come & go like I said?
