A Customer Review Relating Alpine Type-R's and Hifonics BXi 1606D Amplifier

"I HAVE THE BXI 1606 ON 3 ALPINE TYPE R AND THE SOUND IS INCREDICLE. THIS AMP SLAMS THE SPEAKERS TO THERE COPACITY, I'VE BLOWN 2 ALREADY. I REALLY LIKE THIS AMP AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A GREAT POWERFUL AMP FOE A GREAT PRICE!!!!!"

Thats what one person reviewed a Hifonics BXi 1606D amplifier. Is it even possible to 'blow' 2 Type-R's out of 3 with that amplifier when Type-R's take up to 1500 watts peak?

Lol, thanks for that. Buuut....Im a beginner obviously, but I'd like to know how it would be possible to blow 2 out of 3 at once? Assuming thats what hes referring, unless he meant like, 1 at a time at 1 ohms?

I am getting my Type-R 12" and amplifier this tuesday (UPS is being slow), so I will check.

But as for the Type-R in my sig, I dont know, haha, I just tried to find one to put in it? Haha.
