You cannot drive 10 mph on the highway interstate. The minimum speed in most places is 55, unless you are in a construction zone.

It must be different in NY.... the I90 has a huge sign saying "if you drive below 40mph, you must have your 4 ways on" (something like that)

Looking back at me over a few times, to me, is looking for a challenge, or showing signs of being a cockbag, take your pick. My car isn't beat up, but since it's an Escort, it is a POS.
As for the semi scenario: The biker was ahead of me by quite a bit in the right lane, and I wasn't trying/achieving gaining on him. The semi comes off the ramp, and the biker gets in my lane THEN slows down.

This is not an attack on bikers, but douchebags in general, since the guy behind me was pissing me off just was much. I apologize for the HP claim, as I am ignorant on bike power, but I know that thing was quick since he cleared 1/4 mile of highway pretty quickly.

I look back all of the time. motorcycles do not have rear-view mirrors. you look back in your car too right? there are a lot more blind spots on a bike than a car believe it or not because your helmet chops your view a lot.

He was not looking for a challenge, because you drive a 90 horsepower escort.

The guy could have slowed down for whatever reason he wants, as long as he is not doing way below the speed limit. For all you know there could have been gravel in the highway and he did not want to be going 55-65 over it.

Say what you want and I half agree he wasn't looking for a race. I hold firm by the details given that the rider was indeed showboating though. You can keep putting yourself behind the wheel and say he wasn't, but anytime I see these young bucs on cotch rockets they are indeed acting a fool.

EDIT: To clarify some info. I dont think it is only young crotch riders. These same douchesicles would drive the same way behind their riced out civics as well.

if you have a bike that stock runs around 10-11's, why would you ever try to race a car that probably runs around 17's stock.

It doesnt make sence. That's like saying a lambo drives up next to him and tried to race him...... why would someone ever do that? and if he was trying to race him, he would probably have made a hand gesture or something...

The law's origin has nothing to do with giving agile motorcycle commuters a way to thread through traffic jams or get in a safer position on the road.
