A 15" Type-R And A 10" Type-R - Will They Mix Ok?

The 15" will probably be facing the rear, whereas the 10" will be facing in the cabin, but its sorta is in the cabin. My question is, powered off one amp, would both subwoofers sound ok together? Im thinking they should because its the same brand, instead of mixing brands.

What do you guys think?

(I brought this up, because Im hearing a bunch of stuff about not mixing subs and it causes cancellations and such)

Haha, I didnt buy any of the Type-R's yet, I have this idea Im running through my head.

You dont think its a good idea to mix a 10" and 15" when both are just facing the other directions?

No, like I said, it's a waste of both speakers. Each will behave differently, and they'll sound different. It's a bad idea and you'll waste your money. Frankly, I don't know what you would even want to do that. If you want two subs, just do 2 12's. You never want to mix and match subwoofer sizes.

i know the general rule is never mix sizes but theoretically would it be possible if you had like a 10 tuned high and bandpassed from like 150-60 and then like a 15 tuned very low and set to play 60 and down. Sort of like going active but with subs?

Well of course it's possible, but it's going to sound awful because the each speaker will still be playing the given note, but since they behave differently at that frequency, it's not going to be delightful.
