unless hes on pcp.a while back there was someone high on that shit going after the police with a knife. they put something like 10 rounds center mass before he fell since his muscle was so tight from being on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

but last i was told , the po-pos first 3 rounds are fmj then hollow points after that. not sure if there is any truth to that , but yeah.

and king , you better get familiar with the law on what you can and cant do with your firearm. if you are going to shoot someone , you better be 89258956% in the right or you WILL go to jail/prison.
O.K. tripple tap to center mass and if he still is coming at you then unload the mag into his crown

CCW class will teach you about the laws of your state and disparage of force...Then go to a self defense handgun class and practice alot with your weapon of choice...GL

Also I know it is a clich'e but when it comes down to it, it is better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6...

P.S. shotgun is FTW, the scariest thing for a burgler is to hear the slide of a shotgun...Scary sound fo sho...

^^^ Urban legend.

If someone is determined to get you, you just gave away your position. Don't believe me, try walking around racking the slide on your pump shotgun while someone is trying to kill you and let me know how that turns out.

There is a real life story that goes with this urban legend, but I don't feel like typing it all out right now.

have u held the glock or the springfield xd or the S&W which one has a longer handle on it and room for your pinky finger
The Springfield Xd sub-compact comes with two magazines, a normal sized one and an extended one that gives you a couple extra shots and more room to grip it. The bigger one is more comfortable to shoot of course but I prefer the small one when I carry. I'm a big guy myself at 6'4" 250 lbs with a size 18 shoe, although I don't shoot with my feet too much, and I'm fairly comfortable with either magazine in. Here's a few pics of the gun with both magazines and then me holding it with each one in.

Its not an urban legend, that sound is a very scary sound, period...

You my redneck friend are ignorant, did i say that i would walk around racking the slide more then once and without loading the weapon ready to shoot whoever is still in my house????, NO...Did i infer that is what someone should do??? No!! All I said is that is a burglars scariest sound to hear... So, What is your point???

I know if I broke into a house and heard the owner slide back and load one into the pipe of a 12 gauge I would not be wanting to stay around... Would you???

Redneck, good one. You are the one who makes unsubstantiated claims thinking that the mere racking of a pump shotgun slide will make your typical burglar, who has the balls to break into your house while you are at home, run the other way. As I said before racking the slide on your shotgun will serve two purposes (1) you just gave away your position and (2) the burglar now knows you are armed and can respond accordingly if he/she is armed!

I guess next myth you are going to spread is that one just has to point their shotgun in the direction of the noise because the spread pattern will take care of the rest. Don't believe this because that is wrong too inside the typical distances of most houses!

The point I am trying to make is DO NOT confuse what your typical whacked out junkie burglar will do by thinking that he/she will act like a rational human being, because they WON'T.

Lastly, for anyone who imitates what they see in the movies, Hollywood will get you killed!

A friend and I were at a party and he got shot right below the nose in that indent thats right above the lip with a 9 mm. He's doing fine. I'd want more power than a 9 mm myself.

The bullet stopped by his neck bone. They had to life flight him to Houston. He had to get a tracheotomy because there was a lot of swelling till it went down. No big if you believe me or not it's up to you.

He was talking though. He sat down and said "Shit. I may not make it through this one." But he did. Took out a few teeth and a little tongue though.
