The bullet stopped by his neck bone. They had to life flight him to Houston. He had to get a tracheotomy because there was a lot of swelling till it went down. No big if you believe me or not it's up to you.
He was talking though. He sat down and said "Shit. I may not make it through this one." But he did. Took out a few teeth and a little tongue though.
so it did drop him to where he didnt want to fight back or nothing and if that shot was 4 inches higher he prob would be dead

Do they work now?
yea they do thanks, what caliber is that, and how many more shots with the extended mag, and how much more aggrviation is it with the extended when carrying in concealed

It's a .40 caliber. The .40 holds 9 rounds with regular mag, and 12 with the extended mag. The 9mm holds 10 with the regular mag, and 16 with the extended mag. If you wear loose clothing you can easily conceal it with the extended mag on it. If you're comfortable with an inside the pants holster it's even easier. My son bought a new 1911 and my xd is far superior for concealed carry.

You can find he info on the Xd sub-compact here. http://www.springfield-armory.com/xd.php?model=2

ok yea i just aint sure if i want the 40 or 9mm for the reg mag its only one shot diff for the ext mag its 4 shot difference and more than likely i will use the ext mad since i wear loose clothing and want the longer handle to put my last finger on to have more to grip, whats the difference in all the models avaible on that gun there is alot of diff choices i want one thats all black.

still undecided such a hard choice

read above anyone agree that a direct hit below the nose would do alot of damage
The nasal cavity is one of the places you will get taught to place your head shot versus in the forehead. The nasal area is nice and soft plus gives you a direct pathway to disrupt the central nervous system.

Shooting someone in the forehead risks deflection by the skull and is considered a no-no in training!

The size is the difference in the models. You can check out the different models in the little red box if you click the link I posted. For concealed carry the sub-compact seems like a no brainer to me. They are all available in all black.

"so it did drop him to where he didnt want to fight back or nothing and if that shot was 4 inches higher he prob would be dead"

The guy who shot him (his uncle) wanted to kill him so I would say the gun was to light for the job. A heavier caliber would have done it I would think.

Pass on both get a man's gun = )

too big and bulky and not so conceable either.

so basically my question is the 9mm with 16 rounds or the .40 with 12 rounds. which one would you take and why

depends.....how accurate are you???//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

its going to be a practing shooting gun alot but going to carry it with me as my ccw and of course alot of rounds will get put through it since i want to be very good with it if i ever need to use it to defend myself if someone pulls a gun on me

and as far as how accurate i will do plenty of pratice with it

I see no reason to carry more than a 9mm....if you need more knock down power than that, then you are screwing with the wrong people.

for daily shooting, I believe(but do not quote) the 9mm ammo is cheaper??

check what the 9mm loaded vs .40 loaded weight difference is, IMO lighter the better

also, hold them both and see what fits YOUR hand better.

9mm, less gun failures than a .40, I have owned both and sold both off for a conventional knock a hole in your mother fukn a$$ kinda gun aka .357 for home defense "If Needed"...

But a daily concealed 9mm by far for your purposes....
