'99 T&C Infinity speaker system

HELP!!!!

My passenger door speaker, 6X8, and left/right rear side panel 6X9s do not power up. However, the passenger dash speaker and left/right tailgate speaker do, these speakers are powered by the respective amps attached to the door or rear panel speaker. The driver side door and dash work fine. I've tested the wiring for the rear side panel speakers (easy access) and the power feed to the amp is hot. When I unplug the feed to the rear side panel speakers the tailgate speakers turn off and when I plug the feeds back in, the tailgate speakers come back on.

Any suggestions?!

The speakers work intermittently, with long gaps between working status, simply random working condition.

Sounds like a loose connection... check the obvious.... beyond that.... good luck.

I also think loose connection. Had that problem before. tightened the connection between the speaker and wire. I also had a similar problem where the speaker connections weren't shielded and were touching the metal on the door and shorting out. Make sure the connections don't have exposed contacts.
