99 Silverado stock radio to amp

i have a 99 chevy silverado stock radio/cassette player with a seperate cd player that runs through the origional headset and i was wondering what wire if there was one that i need to run or hack into in the back of the radio to power my remote on the amp..and then i was just gonna use the converter for the rca's..

there is no actual wire in an oem radio for remote turn on. you might want to run it toi the fusebox and find a fuse that passes power when acc is engaged, unless you know the wire color codes for the oem radio wires. you can always use battery power and a toggle switch

Not hard. Use the left side of the dash and use the IGN spot for turn on.

On the passanger side of the dash behind that panel the LOC can be hooked up and stashed.

Yeah just use pink or brown under the steering column if you want.
