99 problems but my sub aint one!

Hey yall. I going to do my systems over about 90%. I sold my deck that I loved (Jensen9312hd) and got a Clarion vz400 and i hated it. I even sold it before I got a new one.

But 1st things first, I need help. I am in need a HO alt. I dont want to pay 5 or 600 for the DC. So I am looking to pay between 150 to 300 for a custom one. I live in San Diego but I am willing to Drive to Los Angeles for a decent price from someone with a decent reputation. I have a UPS account for shipping for anyone further, but I prefer to stay local.

BTW I drive a 2001 Chrylsler Sebring LXI (it has the same drive train as the 01 Mitsubishi Eclipse)

you want to know if someone has one for sale? if so, this should be in the WTB classifieds.

if you want to know where to find one, ebay has several. you don't mention if you have a 4cyl or 6cyl. regardless, ebay has alts in the 150-200A range for under $200. note that you'll get about half rated output at idle.

for local shops; grab the phone book and start calling around. most likely, you'll be directed to a shop in the first couple of calls (assuming you are polite on the phone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

ive checked ebay. depending on the size of your engine, your looking @ 200$-270$ for an HO alternator. the sellers name is powermaxusa. i bought my ho from them and am MORE than satisfied with it. they range from 170amp - 250 amps.
