98 WS6 ***** Am or a 98 cobra what would you take?

This is a futile arguement. Drive both, pick which one you like better. I am a diehard Mustang freak. Have a 98 Cobra of my own. Yes, stock for stock the LS1 will hand the 98 Cobra it's a$$. Forget about displacement. There's a reason both manufacturers put their specific engines in each vehicle. Adding power is easy with both platforms as long as your wallet is up to the challenge.

Just keep in mind, the bottom end on the Cobra is not durable at all. Powder cracked rods and hypereutectic pistons are their downfall, with the rods being the weakest link. A forged rotating assembly in the stock 6 bolt cobra block has been proven upwards of 1000+ HP, but it's costly.

The F-body handles considerably better as well. It's weakest link when adding power is the 7.5" rearend. Also a pain to work on in that cramped bay.

IMO, each is an awesome platform with both having strenghts and weaknesses. It's basically whether or not you're a Ford or Chevy person.

i wanna see the vids but they are "in shutdown mode" 0-150mph in 10 seconds?? ****
yeah I know that sux....

but as far as the WS6 vs Cobra I would go with the WS6 stock for stock BUT I would go with the stang when it comes to mods.

It depends on what you want to do. Some people like to buy a fast car and leave it alone and some like to mod their cars. There are mods out there for the ws6 but IMO it would be cheaper and easier to mod the stang.

That is one tihng the ford has going for it; the rearend. I like the toughness of the 6 speed transmission in the F-body though.

I call BS on your calling BS because your assumptions are based on BS, thus your conclusions are clearly flawed.
So I guess you're saying diplexer is wrong too right?

Maybe you misunderstood what I said because I see no flaws in my assumptions. Do porting and polishing of the heads to both and the power increase in the 5.7 will be greater. Do ported and polishing of the heads in a honda civic and the increase will be less than the 4.6 and the 5.7.

i dont know what the **** that is, but everytime ive been to the strip theyve used alcohol and ethanol.
If you've ever heard the term "Top Fuel", it refers to Nitro-methane, which is somewhere around a 90% alcohol and 10% Nitro mixture, hence the name "Nitro-methane.

Actually, the 90% rule means 90% nitro-methane and 10% methanol.

The Nitro-methane name comes from the way the fuel works and the correlation between Nitrogen and Propane.
