98 Suburban Stock Speaker system, want to upgrade

Hey im brand new to this forum and i really don't know where to start. I have a 1998 Chevy Suburban and I want to start by upgrading the front door panel speakers, the rear door panel speakers, and the rear ceiling speakers. My question is how do I find out what size speakers I need and what speakers do I need? I just want to replace them because they are blown and distorted. Also in the future I would like to get a sub and amp. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Ive got a 99.

The stock speakers are actually not 1/2 bad, its just the stock h/u makes them sound like total garbage.

Just about any mid will fit in the doors, they are huge. You will have to cut the door panel on the inside to make them fit, its just a useless piece of plastic that doesnt serve any purpose.

Fronts are 6.5", 7" will probably fit

Rears are 6.5" shallow mount, rears 4x10.

If you have any questions about anything just ask me, ive torn apart my truck a couple times before.
