Anyone use total mobile audio?

I have a friend who will be getting 2 10" Total mobile audio subs with a TMA amp to power them. When he told me that i said that i never heard of that brand and i figured it was a cheap crappy brand but i found out that there made by JL audio. Has anyone used these before? Are they very good?

Correct.

TMA gear is made by JL.

I've never heard any personally but I find positive reviews about their stuff spread randomly across the 'Net.

What about prices? I couldn't find a place on the net that sells it and on there website there aren't any prices not even msrp.

I had a quick look around eBay and it seems fairly reasonable.

i put 6.5's, a 12 , and there 4 channel in my girlfriends car.. i was pretty suprised.. for the money its a great entry level product... it sounded pretty good on the demo board thats why i bought it for her.

I had a used 500W class-d total amp, it was nice. I believe it was a TI5000 or something like that...don't remember the exact model

anyway, they are nice and won't disappoint

Ran the 500 watt monoblock for awhile. I was under the impression that TMA was owned by JL, not manufactured by them? Oh well. For the money it's good stuff...the mark up on that stuff was high at the shop I worked at, so online should be reasonable.

The prices look great. Why would JL make equipment under another name and sell it for cheaper? This looks like a good deal

How do you think that amp would compare to a kicker zx350.4? I guess that the total would be the equivalent to the JL e series.
