you said you couldn't get the positive off the battery. if you take off the neg it'll still kill the car.
Oh, thought that was bad. Anyways. i got the positive off. I don't know weather to take it to Ford or ware i got the alarm. When it comes to trouble shooting and wiring I am worthless. Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Yeah, i did re connect it and it was still doing it. I don't know. Ill take it to the joint I got the alarm. I looked at my receipt and I got it 1 year ago to date lol!

if you have full coverage on the car drench it in gas and burn it...your neighbors will be witness to the horn sounding all evening and pass info off as an electrical short to the insurance adjuster...
x2

Just take out your audio equipment.

But other than that, the people probably just went around the stock alarm and didn't unplug something... those people are lazy like that.

When I installed my alarm the people who installed the alarm prior left about 20 feet of wire (I'm not kidding) rolled up under dash, wrapped around nearly everything...

To that day I use that wire for lengtheners and the sort.

And it worked for a year without incident? Dont think thats what it is.

Yes I do, but I think the car is worth more than the $3,000 or so they would give me.

Not on Craigslist =\

But, yeah... something probably shorted out between the two units. Probably something having to do with your ignition which is getting wiggled when you turn your wheel... either that or one / both the units are by your wheel column.
