I get 14V so far as I have not did the BIG 3 as yet but need to do some more testing I had that issue with my other ride....what i did temporarily was turn my headlights on in the day so the ELD would see a load an charge the batts at 14.4v+...I then got a adjustable voltage regulator and ALT from Excessive and had no issues since then.....Do you have any voltage issues due to the elf system?
I had some wiring issues from the previous owner being an idiot about things, so I had to rewire my windows and buy new switches that I mount on my console. Looks pretty good, I like them better where they are now actually. sooo that trick doesnt work with me anymore.this is why i love my 94. no ELD system to screw up my voltage.. but my buddies civic all he has to do when it stops charging is press on the power window up buttonn
no idea at all but i know mine doesnt have it. YAY meI had some wiring issues from the previous owner being an idiot about things, so I had to rewire my windows and buy new switches that I mount on my console. Any idea what year civics came with ELD? I wouldnt mind owning a Civic, I just wont buy anything else with ELD. More trouble than its worth for guys like us.
correct on the built in japan for american market part, but my JDM civic has the d16z6. motor depends on if you have the ex or lx eg ect... op- nice build!Ok the fact that it was built in Japan makes it JDM had a D15 engine in it not like the US model with a D16.....an so forth...
I noticed at highway speeds, it would keep voltage up on its own. I wonder what the deal with that is?If you want to keep the ELD on you need to drive over 65, have the head lights on , or the fan on 2 or higher.
Woo japanese,
