I am now the new owner of a 95' dark charcoal ext cab silvy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And naturally I want to get rid of the stock speakers.

Im used to my 92' truck, everything was simple in that but now I am having some problems. I search everywhere in this forum and couldnt find what I was looking for, but after breaking a few panel clips I finally got the door panel off and then got the speaker out and then I noticed that there arent any holes drilled to mount the new speaker. The stock one just clipped in and I thought maybe I had to use the old clip setup for the new speaker and I couldnt b/c its all one piece on the stock ones.

Just wondering if I have to go buy some baffles or do I just make holes? Or how do I do this?

Also, when you get new speakers, be sure to check the mounting depth. You want speakers with less than 2" of mounting depth, since anything deeper will interfere with the window or other components inside the door panels.

I'll have to work on that later tonight, Ill be able to get into the shop then.

Washing the truck at the moment and hoe **** its hot.
