95 Lumina amp wiring.

Hi, i am going to be wiring my amp andsub today, i was wondering if anyone has already wired and amp power cable totehre battery or not. i waswondering where i can go through the firewall. im prolly going to be running it dwon the drivers side so is there anywhere i can go through the firewall?? or where i can drill and wont hit anything? and what do i connect the reomte turn on wire to when i go to attach it to my HU?
