95 Ford Bronco

I have a 1995 Ford Bronco and going to build custom sealed Fiberglass boxes for the rear qtr panels in the hatchback. I have 2 JL audio 12’ powered by a JL Audio 500/1. My question is should I aim the subs at the tailgate rear facing or forward? Or even just level where they fire across the trunk at each other?

Is the top removable? And, if it is, will you ever remove it? If the answer is yes, then, I would downfire the subs.

The top is removable but I would never remove it.

Subs back port to the side. There are actually many different ways that you can go. Subs up/port back. Subs forward/port side. Subs back/port back among others.

I was going to do a sealed fiberglass box with the subs angled forward but not sure if I should do that, face them back or just flush. Kinds like this shape box.
