91 Civic Hatch Back

Picked this car up about 2-3 months ago but have not made too much progress as of yet. im wanting to take my time to hopefully do things right this time around so we will see how it goes. Now on to a few pics.

dude had the headlights wired up all fucked up so my and my little girl went to work

then yanked out the back seats

this is what i plan the sub stage to be but not written in stone just yet

and these will be the front stage speakers running off of my orion 475xtr

some rolls of audiotech to deaden soon

got around to switching the front battery

dude had the last battery held in place with a piece of wire :/ so had to make sure this bat stayed in place

this was the first time i tint windows also, not the best job but came out OK

And thats where i stand as of now, next things i have planned to do is change the struts on the hatch so it will actually stay open, change the spark plugs and spark plug wires and run all the wiring into the trunk.

the one i got was a POS. clutch seemed sticky, headlights were wired wrong somehow, weatherstripping leaked, and the engine had been messed with. was originally buying it just to have fun with. was going to do something crazy in it, and then problems kept happening with it so i sold it off

man that sux, hopefully i do not run into any big problems so far its just been a bunch of ghetto rigged solutions to small problems i have had to fix. not to mention the person who painted this car last didn't sand the original paint off so the red is chipping of so there are spots of purple all over ha, still no clue what i will doing about that.

a boat load, in the 300 k region on the odometer but the engine was rebuilt 2 years ago and was garaged for one of those years.

ha ya that's Honda. I had a 89 accord when I was younger. It started dieing at every stop sign so I traded it for a set of house speakers lol...... it had 400k on it and probably was a easy fix but was young and dumb probably would still be running. I kinda almost miss it. Haha

hopefully not. i went through major issues with mine. i will be buying another one in that year range definitely to have some fun with.

I've been looking for a honda hatch or possibly a crx to play with. Throw a paint job on that car and it would look pretty good.

yea i lucked into this one and the price was perfect. i have been kicking a few ideas around for the paint. i have a shop that will do it for a low price and have seen the work they do. also been thinking doing a DYI sort of thing. pretty much just sand and flat black primer with a layer or two of clear. Even thinking of doing something as extreme as spraying bed liner on the whole thing.

all the hatches i see locally have been molested by rice lovers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif and they think theyre worth 5k because they put a clutch and a big ass muffler on em.

i am erally thinking hard on this one. i am thinking about getting a hood or bumper from a junk yard and lining it the nputting it on the card to see how it would look.

have you looked into what liner you would use? im thinking raptor A) because it has its own spraying mechanism. and B) there is a tintable version if i wanna go crazy and 2 tone a little hah ahha
