Currently, I have on the way (courtesy of ebay and slapmaster) a little over 9,500 watts worth of RMS power. The amps are: xxx6500d, pcx2000d, pcx2.540, pcx4.540.

I plan to run a dual alternator set up on my 1996 blazer. My question is, how many and what kind of batteries should I use, and how many amps should my second alt put out?

I think you will need 2 more batteries. The 6500d is a current hog. Puts out about 4300 watts.

What subs are you running? And whats the Picasso 200d amp for? Mids? The 540's are real nice. Just put one in a friends car on 4 SST 6x9's

i am running 2 batteries and 10k right now and a stock alt. for daily it does not work well. i would suggest a h/o alt and 6 g31 batts.

yea, at the recommendation of 18inchjeepin and a few others on here, i am ditching the earthquake amp and running the L5's off of the plc2000.
is this all in the same vehicle? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Please excuse this extra question .. Is there a specified patch lead or compatible bypass harness for the factory amp or would I have to create it...
