oh lol, i just saw the thread that stated all you ahve to do is ground your rca negatives to the screw on the back of the deck. Farkin easy, no problems there, i'll go ahead and get one then.

There is no such thing. Its a problem with the ground trace in the PCB.

The pico fuse is part of the ground system is it not?

So if thats not what it is, how would one repair it?

search for microfuse, pico fuse, 880PRS whatever over on DIYMA... there's several threads about it, some with pics and repair suggestions.

just take off your battery ground when your installing the thing and your wont have any problems.

Everyone that I know of thats a had a problem installed their deck without disconnecting their battery.

Dosn't that deck have a feature were you can turn the internal amp off inside the unit? would this affect engine noise?

Mines had zero noise, didnt' even disconnect the battery before installing, I just didn't hook up the harness until I was done installing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Sold mines though.

nice replies everyone, i will disconnect the batterynegative first and then if i have problems look into the pico fuse thing. Repairing amps is what i do in my spare time for friends so i have no problems soldering.
