i picked up the wire harness today to hook up my new headunit, but i need help understanding how i can hook everything up. im very good with car audio, but im confused on this old style.
the factory wires should be 2 harness that should connect to the 2 harness i baught today. well the factory harness for the power, ground etc is still hooked up and good, but the speaker sound harness is pulled outta the truck.
ok so i know the one harness hooks up to the power, ground harness fine, but how do i go about getting power to the speakers etc since that harness is ripped out? can i just run the speaker wire right off the head unit?
-if i hook up the power harness etc without the other harness, shouldent the head unit turn on? i did this and it would even turn on.
