alright, i got a buddy of mine to seel me a park avenue ultra the other day.
So, it had an old school cassette/cd player in it, that would be cool if this was still 1995, but this one doesn't read burnt cds at all.
So i went to replace it with the Pioneer head that i had in my old truck, but whenever i pulled the dash off i was met with a pleothora of wires... way more than needed to wire just a cd player in... i have run into this before, but never have figured out how to get everything working.
So, the best i can figure the temperature control and maybe the power windows are wired into this (just a wild guess on the windows, but i am pretty sure the temp control is in there)
I don't really care to go buy an adapter, if i have to i will... but does anyone here know how to distinguish the wires and whatnot, i have a multimeter... not to sure how to use it, but i can learn.
iirc, there are three yellow wires, and three black wires.... i found the hot wire.
if anyone can just tell me how to bypass the temperature control around and make it work, then i am more than capable of running my own wires and setting fuses and finding out which wires are which speaker through trial and error.
thanks for any help in advance
