Hey, I am looking for someone to help me. I bought a headunit, wiring harness that says "not for use with bose or monsoon", antenna adapter. My problem is that I have the factory amp in the car and everything is crossed over at the amp so I can't bypass the amp by just using the wiring harness. My dad is a car audio genius, but is currently working on something for my aunt. He has basically solved the problem I believe with using a sort of converter that allows a radio to hook up to a factory amp. I bought it at walmart, and I'm not to sure how it works. He tried to explain, but it was just didn't make much sense to me. I think what it does is makes the radio power lower into the amp so it doesn't do any damage and then the amp still allows for the crossing over of the speakers. This will work right? If not, could someone tell me the correct solution? thanks
