For what you want youre not gonna get it for under $800. The 4 channel amp with those power ratings is already close or over the budget. The IDMAX and L7 is ~$300-$350. Wiring is about another $100 or so.
"I would say get an HU, components, component amp and sound deadener (a lot of people ignore this and I dont know why) first. Later on you can add a subwoofer and another amp."
This is sound advice. After reading your post on the type of gear you're looking at wanting to get I just can't see you achieving it on your stated budget. I do not fault you for wanting top-shelf gear, don't get me wrong, but you aren't going to get stuff like the 9855 and a sub comparable to the W7 for bargain-basement pricing. Yes, there are exceptions which are generally the result of continuous
eBay browsing and not a small touch of luck, but on average if you want great equipment you're going to need to pay more than just a couple of bucks for it.
My suggestions in Post #4 contained something that was admittedly self-serving as the proposed HU idea is the one I personally have for sale. That notwithstanding it
is a solid unit with 3 sets of 5v preouts, built-in HP crossovers for the front and rear outputs / LP crossover with level control for the subwoofer preouts, defeatable internal amp if it's not going to be used, plays .mp3 and .wma files...motorized face, etc etc etc ~ more or less
fits the description of the kind of head unit you're looking for. The rest of my suggestions were for solid equipment at decent prices. No, the Profile amps aren't the greatest in the world but they're rock solid units for entry-level amps and buying Profile amps through
Crutchfield gives you a valid 3yr manufacturer's warranty. Tough to beat three years of guaranteed service, IMO. (and it's a pretty safe bet that
Crutchfield won't be going out of business anytime soon so should you need warranty service say.....2.5 years down the road then
Crutchfield will still be there then to provide it - how many
eBay powersellers can offer you that guarantee?)
At the end of the day, though, it's your money and certainly you are free to spend it as you see fit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You asked for suggestions and you've been given some that I really think are good suggestions working with your stated budget. For the kind of gear you're looking for, though, I just don't see $800 or close to it being enough.
Just my $0.02.
