"Recently bought this amp for 2 12" type r's - in slot ported box tuned to 32Hz. Unfortunatly i have the dual 2-ohm Type-R so I'm only getting 800 wrms out of this amp as opposed to 1200 wrms @ 1 ohm. Amp has 120A Fuse (2x60A) there is a subsonic filter is a must for any amp! You wont be dissapointed with this amp."
I read this on the mono amp that was provided a long ago..Gotta watch out for this Ohm-business as it turns out to be quite tricky LOLL
Two more questions 1. what is this Hz-tuning stuff? What are boxes usually tuned to? and how do you know what tunage you need for your woofers? Does it sound better when its more Hz, or less?
2. And what kind of Digital Capacitor would I need? The Digital and regular costs about the same so why not go with the digital, would I need 1.5,2,2.5 for my setup? How will this device contribute to the system?
