i like my 4 re 8's but was thinkin on upgrading any ideas? i want something louder and was thinking that maybe the assassins would be. hey fastone how much do you want and if its cheap enough i might buy them two and then get two more from aa.

Actually I have all four.....I just "might" sell two to my friend...I would sell them for around 45 each plus shipping FIRM...I dont wanna lose too much...
Which 8's would you guys say are the best in terms of SQ? I see the Rl-i8s recommended a lot, but only for their SPL performances rather than their SQ...are they great SQ subs as well? Are there better SQ 8's for the money? Just a general wondering...

SQ on the assassins are great...I dont think theres is nothing to compare with it in that price range...Ive heard the RL-I 8 has great SQ as well...but its also double the price...

never ordered from them before, but http://store.realmofexcursion.com/ has the Crystal CMP 8's, they also have the RLI 8's.

i got a pair of RE 8s powered by a diamond d3 400.2 that sound amazing, and i listen to a lot of heavy metal (mudvayne, slipknot, avenged sevenfold), i just put some memphis comps in my doors and in order to mix the bass i gotta turn the 8s down, i was goofing off at a bass race after it was done and hit 125.7 off of a sweep with the seats up and the gains are all the way down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Kicker L7 8's or DD 8" 1000 series. Both are have tremendous output. Nice box design and you're set. Best 2 8's I've every played with.

the L5 8" to me sounds better than the L7, and doesnt have a noticable difference in output. my vote is still the dd 8 though.
