8" subs that will impress

I think you should check this out

http://www.ascendantaudio.com/assassin8specs.html

I got 1 and was not sure but for 45 bucks each you cant go wrong.

I bought 2 10s and 1 8". Well I took that 8 to work and all the guys where like WTF. It looks badass. I have not even heard it but I am wishing I would of bought all 8s. We have heard good things about AA products in the past and are starting to hear good things about the new line up. I would get a pair if I where you.For the price you can not go wrong.

the assasian 8 would get pretty loud.

but why not just go with a 10" 85 shipped.

i betcha that would make the sound you are looking for. but im an ID fanboy, im running two 15" IDQ's freeair in my trunk and i have never heard a more musically accurate setup to date with as much high end as the IDQ's.

mind you the subs listed above are NOT idq's, but they use alot of the same parts and are very similar to boot.

Love my 8" assasins. In trunk .4cube sealed before displacement with 180 to each sounds good to me, shakes the car pretty good and now I have more rattles to find. Planning on trying them free air.

8w7 wins in my book!
nicest and loudest little 8 I've ever heard!

I had a buddy that worked for Tweeter Audio in Vista,Ca

he installed (4) 8-W7's in his car..

It was **** loud..

After looking at the Assasin link I may try one.. mayb thats what I'll put in my dads truck & I'll run the RL-i8

Peace

Troy

would that 8" AA get as loud as the RL-i8?

So we have a e8a, AA 8", DD 8" and the Rl-i8 sub as my list of 8" subs

Again, I'm looking for best bang for the buck setup. I have 600W to play with, biggest box I'd like to run is 1ft^3 1.25^3 max! Sealed or ported.

I want to get the most out of the sub SPL wise, but I also want there to be SQ.

over priced or not, ive heard 2 8w7 off a 500/1 and it was **** loud. they were in some sealed fiberglass box off a stock head unit.

however i would probably recommend the dd or the rl-i even tho ive never heard either. but get something other than JL
