8" 0.5 cube 300 watt daily SVC4 subs

did u not look at the build? I did a 144 with 1 8 yes
Then how am I only doing 132 with a 10" on 900w? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

my 4 e8s in a super small 1.85 ported box before ANY displacement play music at 136 db.. it only burped a 139.XX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif off a sundown 1000d in a double cab tacoma.... hopefully my scores will be a little better with 2 10s in a proper box.
Three e8's in that box would probably do better. Especially off that power. Why haven't you tried that?

theyll both do fine sealed there not spl subs there both daily beaters
Jacob has said that the SA series shouldn't be in a sealed box n00b //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

well then test it at the headrest where he will be.. I am sure the dead bodies in the back on the floor will like the 144 there but he won't hear that.. plus you did 144 on a burp so unless he jams out to 54hz tones then its a no go..
lol. guess u u didnt see it does 140+ on music either or maybe u didnt see the vid with the roof flex either? Im no beginner here. This lil 8 was built to help out the lack of midbass from the hsk165.

The dead bodies in my Tahoe can also hear a 164 on the floor of the same vehicle with 3 lil subs behind the front seats //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

if it has a 1" surround how would it be 7" in diameter as the surround is on both sides of the sub? and with pi*r^2 the radius does come into effect it's an exponential function..
8" subs are generally ~8.5" in diameter, so lets just say 8" from outside of surround to outside of surround...for simplicity's sake. Take into account 1" surround on both sides...6" cone. Take into account 1/2 surround counted towards sd...7" diameter.

lol try getting loud in a double cab tacoma by keeping everything stock looking on the inside... only got around 5.75" mounting depth behind the rear seat... I may try the box with 3 e8s and turn the gain up a little on my amp... i had tried unhooking 1 sub and just running three, but I think the problem with that was the 4th was acting like a passive radiator and the box still had two ports so it was too much port.. i might just take one out and put a plate over and see how it goes.... but i'm already building a sealed box for 2 10s.. i'll probably get two sa-8s when they come out and attempt another ported box.

did not know that, thanks.

you said you tested it on the floor.. I am not doubting your abilities i want to see what it does at the headrest.. and as for the flex you vehicle has a bare roof so I am sure it makes it more than it would be
