lol i just might im just one of those peeps that like to check his options first.

lawl that video you saw was of hot carl's rli 8, and trust me just cuz the rms is 300 doesnt mean they cant take more, they would be fine on 600 each.
lol it was pretty cool to see.

im not debating the results they def. pound just the price makes me go ouch slightly hehe what can i say im cheap! hehe gotta save my money for gas driving cross country with the family @ $3 a gallon ......

The Rl-is come in dual 4 ohm configuration. Get two and parallel wire them into a 1 ohm load for the amp.
tis a good idea but the only problem is i wouldnt want to void my warranty .

SS warranty

ll of our drivers are covered by a one year manufacturer's warranty from the date of your purchase. This warranty covers defects in parts and craftsmanship, but will not cover customer abuse or negligence. The most common reason for driver failure is too much power input, which results in thermal failure, essentially frying the voicecoil.
seeing how they are "rated" @ 300 rms 600 would def. be considered abuse even though eveyone says they can take more it would void the warranty .

Use the gain to limit the power applied to the subs. It does work that way...
If you go the AA Assassin route, get the second amp and wire the subs up in two sets of four. If you are looking for SQ, you want to avoid any series wiring between subs.
ok thanks for the info ill post in a day or two letting yall know what i decided

thanks for all the info ppl
