what can 8 guage wire handle as in rms power to run an amp it says 1200 on the box but i dont kno if thats rms or peak

what kind of wires to run really depends on how large of a wire your amp will take

I wouldnt touch anything over 500 watts with 8ga, go with at least 4ga. I use 8 ga wire as speaker wire lol

well dang

just curious but how much does say 1/0 wire go for per foot

so when i have the cash i kno what to look for in price wise right now dont have the cash thats why i am trying to make my 8 guage work

1200 rms might as well go with 0ga
