8 cu. ft. and no subs?

I need help deciding what subs to put in a 4 cu. ft. per chamber box for two 12's ported. Spl or SQ , i can't really find info on what subs sound good with this much space. Ay help on my decision would be greatly appreciated.

hes got 8ft^3...i think the R's will fit:laugh:

for 15's it is a lil small because that is before port displacement

In that space a MT would be well suited...

That's volume is more for a 15 really.

They would more than likely sound like crap in a box that large for 12s. 4 cubes a 12 is way to much for the alpines.

yeah i agree that type rs souuldnt have even been suggested for 4 cuft per sub, but to the original poster, 4 cubes per sub really IS better suited for 15s if you can fit them... if you really are after 12s youre gonna be looking into some pretty heavy duty subs.

4 cubes gross is no where near 4 net, depends greatly on that fact.
