8 AWG good enough for 4 channel amp

Hey guys, basically I have 54 Awg on my sub. and Im about to buy a 8 AWG Monstor kit that comes with 8 AWG power n grounds and a 18 awg Remote turn on cable.. its on sale at fry's electronics.

Is a 8 awg cable good enough for a 4 channel amp running around 50-70w RMS x 4?? or should I use 4 awg? its got a 30 amp fuse also

Thats fine. Keep in mind you will have to upgrade the 8 awg if you add an amp or upgrade the one you have now wich means even more money and time spent upgrading in the future. I would recommend from the get go , go with a 4 awg

just dont make the 8 g wire more than 20'
