in his case, i think all that mattered was the ohm load going to his one sub amp. and iirc he had issues and plan on adding another amp.

Diamond wall as suggested above, but a clam shell design works well too.

Either design would be louder than CRX style in the van, and with all those subs, push a shitload of air.
