79 F100 Temporary Box Build

Started building the box for my 2 12" w3's today. Just building it out of plywood since its only temporary. Right now it has about 1.75 cubes each but i think im gonna cut it off a little and add some front stage above the subs. I measured without the seat being in so my measurements were just a estimate. After test fitting the box it BARELY fits. So im going to have to lower the subs towards the bottom of the box instead of centered to try to get them to fit. Thats y i came up with the plan for the door speakers so it doesnt look as retarded....heres some pics of todays work.

The boys that helped me do it. That circular saw is greatest investment ever. We have had it for 14-15 years and still running strong. Wood glue, Black and Decker Drill, and the tape measure, and cant forget the sharpie. lol.

Please explain that one to me. Do you understand what people mean when they say, "front stage" or do you just assume it means mids/highs?

its 1/2" , only gonna have abour 400 watts at most.

Finished it today and did a test fit. Have to take everything back out to spatter paint the box. Ended up adding in some 200 watt 5 1/4" boss audio speaks i had laying around. space in the middle of the box will be for the amp.

why not do your ford a favor and build the box with the right wood atleast? let alone not put your speakers in mixed.

and 2 are front speaks... had to do something so it wouldnt look retarded just the subs being down there and all that space left.

Hope the 5 1/4's are in a different chamber. Those subs will kill them and make 'em sound like shit.

like i said. Couldnt leave it without anything else wheres its just 2 subs at the bottom corners of a 64" long box. And there cut off. There not even for use really, just for looks. They are in a different chamber.
